Spot prices are indicative wholesale benchmarks and can be delayed. They are not an offer to buy or sell. Dealer buy and sell prices include a premium or discount to spot depending on the product, condition and market.
Melt value calculator
What is the metal in your coins worth right now?
Pick a coin, enter how many you have, and we'll price the pure metal content at the current spot rate. Collector coins can be worth far more than melt — that's where an assessment comes in.

Good to know
How spot price relates to what your coins are worth.
Spot is the floor, not the ceiling. Here's how the numbers above translate into real-world value.
Bullion trades near spot
Maple Leafs, Eagles and bars sell for spot plus a small premium and are bought back at or slightly under spot. The calculator is a close guide for these.
Collector coins can exceed melt
A common-date 1960s silver dollar is worth about its metal. A 1948 dollar, a 1921 50-cent piece or a high-grade PCGS example is worth dramatically more.
Don't melt before you check
Before selling an inherited collection for bullion value, let us look for the key dates and varieties hiding in it. Assessments frequently pay for themselves.
Selling silver or gold? Get a real offer, not a melt quote.
We price collector coins on their merits and bullion on live spot. Either way, you'll see exactly how we got to the number.
