Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Canadian Coins And Collectibles ("CCAC", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through canadiancoinsandcollectibles.com and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you provide — name, email address, phone number and location — when you submit an enquiry, subscribe to our newsletter, book a consultation or enter a giveaway.
  • Details about your coins and collection that you choose to share with us for assessment, consultation, submission or sale.
  • Submission information required by PCGS, including coin descriptions and declared values, when you submit coins through us.
  • Technical information such as browser type and pages visited, collected through standard server logs. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request.
  • To process PCGS submissions on your behalf, which requires sharing coin and contact information with Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS).
  • To send our monthly newsletter and administer the quarterly giveaway, if you subscribe. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
  • To arrange shipping with carriers.
  • To meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

Third-party services

Our website uses the following providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Calendly — consultation booking.
  • Web3Forms — delivery of contact and newsletter form submissions to our inbox.
  • PCGS — coin grading and certification.
  • Shipping carriers — transport of coins and collectibles.

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Submission and transaction records are retained for at least seven years for tax purposes. Information is stored on access-controlled systems and transmitted to third parties only over encrypted connections.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw consent to marketing, by emailing info@canadiancoinsandcollectibles.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you are not satisfied with our response.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own. Embedded third-party content (such as the Calendly booking widget) may set cookies according to that provider's policy.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
